Launched by Honda in 1987, the Transalp model has been a myth and a dream for several generations of motorcyclists. This year, the Japanese manufacturer presented the XL750, a new version of the famous enduro road bike, which is more evolved, technological and different in many respects from its “ancestor”, particularly in terms of its engine, which is now a twin-cylinder in-line engine.
For this bike, Kappa has developed specific accessories that can be used to create real travel equipment capable of matching the bike’s spirit of adventure.
The versatile crossover character, capable of offering safety and comfort both on and off-road, and the light, bold lines have contributed to making the Transalp one of Honda’s best-loved bikes ever. Kappa decided to equip the new 2023 model with a complete package.
THE BAGGAGE
For this bike, the K'MISSION aluminum monokey trio was chosen, consisting of the KMS36APACK2 side cases, with 36 liters each, and the KMS44A top case, with 44 liters of capacity.
To mount the trio on the Transalp, you need the specific PL ONE-FIT side bag holder configured with a KLO1201MK MONOKEY fitting. The component is robust (18 mm tubular) and combined with the 12RKITK component it becomes a quick-release fitting.
The topcase is attached using the KR1201 rear bracket + one of the MONOKEY KM5, KM8A,KM8B, KM9A, KM9B. The KM8A (made of 5 mm thick anodized aluminium) is the one shown in the photo of the bike.
