The Catalan MotoGP concluded yesterday with the main race, and it’s time to take look at the championships standings. The leaders remain the same, but the gaps have changed.

In the rider’s championship, with Francesco Bagnaia’s (Ducati) retirement in the main race, his lead has narrowed. The Italian has a 50-point gap over Jorge Martín (Prima Pramac/Ducati), who finished third in Barcelona. Marco Bezzecchi (Mooney VR46 Racing Team/Ducati) remains third in the standings, now 23 points ahead of Brad Binder (Red Bull KTM). With his win, Aleix Espargaró (Aprilia) climbed to fifth.

Ducati strengthened its lead in the constructor’s championship with the 25 points scored in Catalonia, now holding a 164-point margin over KTM. Aprilia scored the most points at this GP, with 37, and is now third, 176 points off the top. By scoring nine points, Yamaha moved up to fourth place and surpassed the 100-point mark. Honda is in last place.

Regarding the teams, Prima Pramac extended their lead, now having a 37-point advantage over Mooney VR46 Racing Team. Ducati remains the best factory team, occupying third place, 56 points behind the leader. With the win and the 1-2 finish, Aprilia solidified fifth place and is only three points behind Red Bull KTM, which remains in fourth.
