Marc Márquez will represent Gresini in the upcoming MotoGP season, and his stay may be short because the contract is only for 2024.
The Spanish rider clarified in a press conference that this decision is related to the challenging period he has been through, emphasizing that if he doesn’t enjoy riding the bike, it doesn’t make sense to continue his career:
– For me the only option was a one-year contract. When you are in very difficult times you even have doubts in yourself. I always said that if I’m not enjoying, for me has no meaning to ride a bike. Because if you are not enjoying, why to stay here?
