Throughout the practice, there were constant leader changes, with a total of eight riders taking the top spot at some point. Pedro Acosta (Red Bull KTM Ajo/Kalex) spent the most time in the first position, leading for more than 13 consecutive minutes.

With less than two minutes remaining on the clock, Dixon (Aasterius GasGas Aspar/Kalex) set the fastest time of all: 1m43.983s. This dethroned Arón Canet (Pons Wegow Los40/Kalex) from the lead he held at that moment, being 0.390s faster. Ai Ogura (Idemitsu Honda Team Asia/Kalex) finished third.

The big surprise was the fourth place of Marcos Ramírez (Onlyfans American Racing/Kalex), who even led the session at one point. Albert Arenas (Red Bull KTM Ajo/Kalex) completed the top five. The last rider to secure direct access to the second qualifying was Zonta van den Goorbergh (Fieten Olie Racing GP/Kalex) in 14th place, with a 0.029s gap over Filip Salac (QJMotor Gresini/Kalex).
