CFMOTO’s NK range of naked bikes has come a long way since it hit the market almost a decade ago. Since the brand’s partnership with KTM, the NK range, in particular the 800NK, has undergone a complete update and is now better than before. That said, the 800NK has been made even better with the launch of the 800NK Advanced. Announced on the brand’s official website, it offers a plethora of top-of-the-range features.

CFMOTO raises the bar in terms of technology and features with the new 800NK Advanced. The standard 800NK already impresses with its large TFT display, however, the Advanced takes things a step further. The elegant eight-inch TFT screen now has Apple Carplay and can be switched via its touchscreen interface. It also features multimedia interaction, as well as a keyless ignition system for added convenience.

On the performance front, CFMOTO has added some refinements to make the 800NK Advanced a more capable machine. For starters, it has a new steering damper that stabilizes the front end in the event of hard acceleration and vibrating curves. There’s also a new quickshift, which allows you to shift smoothly without using the clutch. In addition, the bike has three riding modes – Street, Sport and Rain, as well as a handy cruise control function for long highway journeys.

The engine remains the same – the powerful KTM-derived LC8c, which takes the form of a liquid-cooled, fuel-injected 799 cc twin-cylinder engine with a 285-degree crankshaft. Power figures are 102.2 hp at 9,000 rpm and 81 Nm of torque at 8,000 rpm. It is designed for maximum performance due to the lightweight aluminum pistons and chrome-plated ceramic-coated pistons.

The 800NK Advanced benefits from fully adjustable suspension, allowing you to fine-tune performance according to your riding style, road conditions and other factors. The 43 mm inverted front forks are from KYB and are adjustable for compression, preload and rebound damping. The same level of adjustment can also be found on the KYB linkage-equipped rear monoshock. The brakes consist of radially mounted J.Juan calipers at the front and a single disc at the rear, all of which are regulated by a Bosch anti-lock braking system.

In terms of prices and availability, it seems that Australia will be the first to receive this upgraded version of the 800NK; we await official news from CFMOTO for the European and national markets.
