Marc Márquez has a contract with Repsol Honda in MotoGP until 2024, but there remains uncertainty about whether he will stay with the team as the manufacturer is going through a deep competitive crisis.
Regarding his future, the Spanish rider said that the deadline to make a decision is approaching: ‘Yeah, of course there is a deadline. Around India and Japan I will decide’.
And as for specific prospects, Márquez explained that he has two plans: ‘I told that but maybe it’s not clear. Sometimes you can change, no? You don’t know. I’ll decide, I have two plans, and now I need to choose a plan’.
