With this new partnership, Norton will make a financial donation to Mental Health Motorbike (MHM), but perhaps more importantly, the manufacturer will also send its employees to be trained as mental health first aiders.

Initially, this training will be aimed at a group of 16 Norton employees, and these trained employees will also be present at MHM events.

In addition, Norton says it will “form a dedicated committee to support the company’s employees as well as the wider motorcycling community”, as well as the local area around its headquarters in Solihull.

Rob Ridgway, HR Director at Norton Motorcycles, said: “Norton is committed to supporting its employees in and out of the workplace, as well as the wider motorcycling community that many of them are part of. Partnering with Mental Health Motorbike is another way of ensuring they are getting the help they need and are equipped to help others who need it too.”

Paul Oxborough, founder of Mental Health Motorbike, added: “We are delighted to be working with Norton Motorcycles, helping to increase the mental health support available to their employees and the wider community. This is the first time Mental Health Motorbike has worked directly with a motorcycle manufacturer, so it’s a very exciting time for us and a great moment in the charity’s history.”

Find out more about Mental Health Motorbike on their official website. Norton’s official website can be visited to see the brand’s entire 2023 range, including the revamped Norton V4SV.
